Outcome of ttc? How long did it take?

I am new at ttc. Here recently I started tracking when I'm going to ovulate. I was just wondering, has anyone had a good outcome at ttc? I've seen a couple of people say they stopped trying and they got pregnant. I was wanting to try first before I give up. How long did it take to get pregnant with ttc?

I was trying for one year and got really frustrated. I was done with the tracking. But had a general idea when my ovulation will be because i tracked earlier. Then just did BD randomly just once last month. I then travelled a lot , jumped in the gym, and did everything which I didn't do previously when I was trying. But once my periods got delayed just by a day I stopped any serious physical activity and ate healthy, quit alcohol, drank lots of water. It was a such a surprise to get a positive because we did the deed only once!!!! So keep trying and also keep doing what u do... Don't have this in your mind... It won't take much long.. We tried actively for 8 months before we got our BFP. My cycles were 45+ days so I had a lot of trouble pinpointing ovulation and finally decided that the constant testing and tracking was stressing me out way too much and threw TTC out the window. 2 months later and I was pregnant. Now 20+5 with a little boy x

Tried for 6 mos, gave up and boom, pregnant.

I'm still waiting and it's been 21 months. But because I track, I was able to in detail show my doctor what's been going on and figure out a game plan to help us. Some people get pregnant a lot faster being aware of their cycles, other get stressed and that contributes to them not getting pregnant. You have to do what you think is best for you.
