Spitter Uppers

Hi mamas, did any of you have infants that spit up a lot? If so, have they grown out of it yet? I'm just curious because my daughter is actually only 4.5 months old, and she spits up a lot. Doctor says she should grow out if it by 8 months, so I wanted to see if it was true for any of you. Thanks!
