Need some help, please Im lost

I am 30 and we have been trying for 7 months. I am regular but my period was suppose to start on thursday. It still hasnt come yet. I tested and only got BFN. I was wondering when should I test again? I was going to make an apmnt with my dr. Is that to early? Should I wait until next cycle and see if it starts? Im lost, please any help is appreciated.
