What Size Should I Order Second Time Moms (or more)

FTM here and on Zulily they are having a sale on baby and toddler clothes for holidays. I'm due 11/15 and just went for my anatomy scan at 20 weeks 5 days (I'm not 21 weeks 4 days) and my little girl was estimated to weigh 13 oz they expect her to be a touch over 7 lbs (obviously a guess) My question is what size would you buy for Thanksgiving and what size would you buy for Christmas? Would I need newborn for both, new born for thanksgiving and 0-3 months for Christmas, or 0-3 months for both?

I would guess that's correct, but what's annoying is that each brand is different. Example if you put size 3 months Gerbers next to 3 months Carters there's a big difference in the actual size. Also they shrink once you wash them. My son outgrew the n's so quickly but my daughter wore them a little longer.

My first was 8 lb 7 oz and was in newborn clothes for at least a month. She was born the week of thanksgiving and I think her Christmas outfits were 0-3 months.

I personally wouldn't plan ahead. If you have the money I'd go with buying every size which is a bit wasteful and silly. We had enough clothes based on seasons and the age she'd be for the seasons to last a year or two thanks to my baby shower. My daughter grew very slowly and was in newborn for quite some time. She was in three month clothing at six months,18 month clothing at age two. There's really no predicting how big they'll be at birth (late ultrasounds are wrong 50% of the time) and there's definitely no predicting how quickly they'll grow.
