HELP?!?! Anyone want to share their abortion story?

Question

I'm 19 and in nursing school and my boyfriend and I found out we are pregnant. . . I am 6 weeks right now.
I am going to get an abortion scheduled for tomorrow. 
Has anyone on here ever gotten an abortion and feel comfortable enough to share yoir story with me? I'm so scared...

I was 14, I got raped. I ended up pregnant from it. Mind you, before this I was 100% pro life. But I knew I couldn't keep this baby. I was 14, this baby would've killed me. Not literally, I would've killed myself. I know I would've. But about a week or two before my scheduled abortion (I scheduled it for a couple weeks ahead so I could get out of it if I needed to beforehand) I miscarried. It was scary and frightening. But at the end of it, I felt relieved? I don't believe in god now, but at the time I did. It felt like confirmation god knew this baby couldn't happen? 
If I had not miscarried would I have got the abortion? I'd like to say yes. I believe I would.
Now I'm pro-choice. I've been in that situation.

I haven't had an abortion but my mom did when she was 16. Her and my dad did drugs recreationally and drank heavily back then. She carries a lot of guilt from it now but I know my brothers and I wouldn't have been blessed with the lives we had if she hadn't made that choice. By the time I was born, five years later, they had really cleaned up their lives and my dad had made a big advance in his career. They put their feet on the ground because of that. It might be hard but it's often the right choice.

If you LOVE your boyfriend prepare to feel brokenness, even if you believe it is the best decision for you.  prepare to sit in the office ahead of your procedure for several hours for paperwork and etc.  you will cramp alot after and bleed.  There is a pendulum like aftermath... few people will freely speak of their abortions BC they are done in secret to avoid the disappointment or derailing of their plans...so emotional recovery can be REALLY hard, you may never feel comfortable talking about it for Grief counseling.  on the flip side you may find comfort in pro choice groups who often include mom's who defer their pain by defending the right to have one... which can be just a social band aid.  My family doesn't feel complete, there's a hole that will never be filled BC I let the world scare me into believing it was the best decision for me (which it may have been at the time)  my best advice would be to give yourself another week or two to be certain that you are making the right   there is a HIGh percentage of regret

My husband and I got pregnant when we were still just dating. We decided to keep it even though we weren’t ready. I went to my sisters baby shower and played the ballon game where you pop it with your hips. I guess the girl was too rough, I had a miscarriage. It’s hard to admit but I was so relieved, he was a bit sad. A couple months later, I was pregnant again even though we used condoms. Even though we had decided to keep it the first time, we decided we really weren’t ready to raise a baby. I was 10 weeks, we made the appointment and showed up. She gave me three pills. One i drank in front of her (the doctor), one a couple hours later, and one a couple days later. I gotta say the miscarriage  was more traumatic. I don’t know if I’m heartless but even now I dont regret my decision.

My sister had a very abusive boyfriend in high school that ended up getting her pregnant twice and she had abortions each time. It was a good decision on her half because he would have been a horrible father and she was still so young,etc. she made the right choice but thinks about the abortions every day she says. But now she has two kids (middle school and high school) and is very successful and still lives a great life. I guess it just depends on the circumstances! Good luck. xx

I had one this year. I was 20 weeks. I had it done maybe 2 months ago. Physically I feel fine but my heart is broken. Mainly because my hopes were way up that I'd be able to keep my kid but ended up that I couldn't😔. I love and miss my baby every day but I know we made the right choice. We're homeless and have no money. My parents paid for the procedure for me.

I have had a few friends have them. From what I know it depends on what kind of abortion you get and also just depends on how your body responds. If you do the pill it's a forced miscarriage and to my knowledge it's not pleasant. Surgical is simple and quick. You may bleed and pass clots and have cramping. 
My friend had a surgical abortion and then they put her on the shot. Then later on she got the IUD. 
You'll need a check up afterwards to make sure you're okay, no infections or anything. But really there's nothing scary about it. When you get there you can talk to the nurses about it if you need to know more.
