Ladies advice please read!!!!

So I got married young at 18 and he turned out to be my worst nightmare abusive and unfaithful etc .... needless to say our marriage lasted 4 months and we divorced the first week of April .... so four months later I reconnect with someone I went to school with we never really talked in school but I know him and know of his family there very good people he is a marine located in California and I'm located in Ohio .... we've been talking for about a month every night on FaceTime etc..... he wants to fly me out to California so we can spend some time together ..... I keep talking myself out of it because I'm scared I keep pushing him away and keep finding things to sike myself out about.... he is a perfect guy and I really like him ... I just keep finding ways to second guess everything...... should I go to California ? Any advice ?
