Alright so I need an opinion.... why do you thinks guys stop responding after the first date?

Let me tell you some background on this...

I met this guy on a dating app (of course) and we texting for a good while always back and forth. He would send me long messages and say good morning and good night everyday and then we went on a date. We went to the drive in.. it was super nice we had a lot of fun and he said that I made a good first impression.. but ever since then he wasn't really responding.. he would say he owed me a second date and then he just stopped texting all together.. why do you think that is? Was he not interested?? I'm just super confused about what went wrong. Thanks!
