So my boyfriend/future husband and I have talked about trying to have a baby. We both agreed that's what we wanted to do. So we've been trying to get pregnant since around Fathers Day this year, roughly 3 or so weeks consecutively. My last period was June 5, and I was due to start on July 6. When my period never came, I thought I'll wait a few extra days before getting my hopes up and taking a test. I'm close to being 5 days late so I decided to take a test today. The first one not pictured I peed on but didn't know the stick was supposed to be held straight down. Well the control window was blank but the result window had a faint start to a positive. I got excited but thought nah no way! I retook another clear blue this one I peed in a clean cup and dipped the stick following the directions to do so. I layed it flat thinking it would be negative. Almost immediately a dark strong positive popped up!!! I was so excited but still couldn't believe my eyes. I went to dollar tree bought a cheap test and took it right away and within minutes the dark positive lines appeared!!! Now I'm super excited and going crazy I'm going to be a Mom!! I go to the Dr. Friday to confirm.. Wish me lots of luck and send positive vibes!!! P.S I've tried to get pregnant before but not consistently and got let down by negative tests in the past.. This is the first time I've ever had positive pregnancy results and I just can't believe my eyes!!! It's truly a blessing, never give up your hope!!!
