How would you react to finding out your son is homosexual or bisexual?

A friend of mine thinks she may have a bisexual son and it's driving her up the wall due to her religious beliefs. If I had a gay/bi son it wouldn't bother me, how would it make you feel?

I'm pregnant with a boy and I honestly hope he's not gay or bi, not because I dislike them or anything, I'm bi and  a strong supporter of the LGBT community, my grandpa and my brother or both gay, but because I would never in my life want my child to be bullied and ridiculed just for who they love, hopefully by the time they're old enough to be expressing their sexuality (10-13 years from now) our society will be strongly shaped different and overall way more excepting of people, so if he did happen to be gay or bi I obviously wouldn't worry too much about how he will be excepted. I'd support him no matter what, no matter the situation

I'm Catholic and my religion teaches me not to judge others and to treat everyone with respect. God doesn't hate the LGBTQ community and neither does the church. My religion may not agree with their choices and actions sexually, but they don't think they're horrible people that will go straight to Hell. They're still God's children and we as sinners ourselves have absolutely no right to judge them or be cruel because only he who has never sinned can cast the first stone (and only God can do that- and He never did). 
If my future child came out as part of the LGBTQ community it wouldn't change anything expect for the fact that when they had boys over they'd have to keep their bedroom doors open (if they were straight they'd have to keep the door open if they had girls over). I'll treat my LGBTQ kids the exact same (with minor differences such as the type of safe sex talk they get and things like that) as my straight kids. It's not their choice to be gay or straight- and God does not make mistakes so He must love them as He loves all his children. So I'll be following His example.

Honestly, I'd be heartbroken. They are not in a world of equal rights and it will make me so sad to watch others not "believe" when my child is in love, tell me not to worry because it's "just a phase", and be bullied for being different. I would love my children to live lives filled with opportunity and this mama would be incredibly sad if others inhibited that due to their sexual preference.

I'm bi/pan, but putting that aside, I wouldn't mind at all. I'd probably worry about him more, but other than that It would be fine.

My son is my son, no matter what he likes to do in the bedroom. I wouldn't love him less or look at him differently, just like his sisters. Unconditional love has no boundaries.

And I'm having a daughter- if she is lesbian, bisexual, trans*, etc... I'd support her any way that I could and let her be herself- bc whether I'd like it or not its gonna happen, might as well help your child out, I'd love her just the same💓

I grew up in a VERY religious home, as did my husband. He is also very religious. I am religious, but I feel like I'm more laid back if that makes sense. If my child were to come to me and tell me they were gay/bi whatever, I would do my very best to understand and support them no matter what. I want it home to be a safe place for our children to feel comfortable and accepted no matter what. I'm not going to say it would be easy, especially with how our culture is at the moment, but no matter what I'm going to support my children.
