Dnc or pills?

I'm scheduled for a dnc tomorrow morning but I'm reading the risks of it. Any advice?

I had a D&C; two days ago.  My doctor gave me the option of D&C; or letting it happen naturally.  I was 9 weeks but baby was measuring 7 with no heartbeat.  I had been spotting for 4 days already.  I didn't like not knowing when the miscarriage would take place.  Would I be at work, home, shopping?  And the emotional toll of that sounded horrendous.  We elected to have the D&C; the next morning.  I physically feel fine.  I haven't bled much at all and have had minor cramping.  
You just have to decide what works best for you.  Every person grieves differently.  I'll keep you in my thoughts.  This isn't an easy thing to go through.

The first time I MC I took the pills. The next time I requested a D&C.; I emotionally was able to handle things better this time. I had a very negative experience with the pills. One that I refuse to relive. I had NO issues after my D&C;, no side effects. Best wishes to you in this tough time. Go with your gut. 
Side note: DC is more expensive.

Just found out that our baby still has no heartbeat at 7w5d. I had a FET. Doctor gave me options to stop all meds and let it happen naturally, dnc or pills. He recommends dnc and said you’ll get mild spotting and we should be back on track in 4-6 weeks. Waiting for the nurse to call to schedule the dnc. I’m all over the place as it’s taken 2 years for us to get pregnant and that too with fertility treatments.

I had a D&C; with my first miscarriage and I had a regular miscarriage at home! I had such a horrible and traumatic experience with my miscarriage at home! I had to go into the ER! I was a mess! I would choose a D&C; over an at home miscarriage ANY DAY!!!!

I was just given the option of pills, DNC or naturally passing. Was almost 8 weeks and I just turned 37. I'm leaning towards the pills but worried about pain and how long it may take. At my age, i just don't feel I can risk possible scarring/issues...this is so hard 😭

I wish I would have taken the pills. I'm now 4 months post D&C and haven't had a period yet. I'm going in soon for an endosee to check for possible uterine scarring from my procedure. I was hoping to be back to TTC by now, but this is like the MC that will never end.

Take Motrin instead of the Norco prescribed to you after the D&C...the; Norco is constipating & there was not really any need for the Norco anyway as I wasn't in any pain. The Motrin took care of the mild cramps.

I took pills myself i didnt like the risks involved with the dnc and my ob recommend the pills cuz of me being diabetic
