FTM help

I'm 20 weeks and 3 days. I began some back aches last night but read it was common. Every 20 minutes i would get dull aches on the right side of my back. 8:00 am wake up from a nap the pains have moved to the front. Like cramps. i can feel a kick or what i think is a kick with them. It subsides. Comes back 10 minutes later kicks and all. Should i go to the doctor? My midwife appointment is in an hour. Do I wait it out till then?
