Stripping the mebrane

Has anyone else have got done their membrane stripped?

Today I when to my Regular check at 39 weeks and 2 days.My midwife suggest me to have stripping my membrane, since Im 3cm open and 65 %. So around 10am I had my membrane strip, so it can naturaly start labor! Now is 2pm and still no sign. I know that it should start something around 24hours or 48h. So im here waiting for some contractions but all I have feel is really bad cramps 😰😬😱

update: My contractions started at 8:30pm and continue till 10:10 this morning.Just had my son. Healthy baby boy.
