Missedmiscarriage?

Question

I was supposed to be 8 weeks 6 days today when I went for my sonogram. The baby no longer had a heartbeat and it measured to be at 8 weeks 3 days. I'm very confused, sad, and angry. Not sure what to do now... I left the doctors office before he gave me any instructions.

Girl, the first thing you need to know is that you are not alone! One in four women experience pregnancy loss, that's a quarter of us! When I miscarried I thought it was rare and that no one knew what I was going through. But, it's just because it's such a taboo subject. 
Also, it's not your fault! I blamed myself for a long time and felt angry at my body for betraying me. Again, pregnancy loss is way more common than we think and often the doctor just don't know why it happens, pregnancy is just a delicate process. Which makes it all the more special, and only about a quarter of us realize just how special it is.
And, keep in mind that it's normal to grief the loss of a child even if it was early in pregnancy. When you can feel that little spark of life inside you it's like you've know it for all of time, like time doesn't have any bearing on how intimately you feel that life. And besides, it's not just an eight week relationship you lost, you feel you've lost the future you imagined with this little being as well! 
I have come to learn that I will have sad days and that's ok. I just focus on the fact that my baby gave me a very special gift when she allowed me to feel life grow inside me. That feeling of motherhood is so special and I'll always treasure it. 
Anyways, I just don't want you to feel alone and like no one understands. There's a silent little army of us out here (though I wish we weren't so silent) and we're here for you! 💕

With my first pregnancy, I had a miscarriage around the same time as you. I was really upset and sad for many months later but I decided to try again, and now my daughter is 1 years old. Their is still hope, never give up hope:) You can try again one day

ALSO you need to make sure your body passes everything that's in your uterus or you can get an infection. They check via ultrasound and it can be very emotionally upsetting considering the ultrasounds you had up to this point. It was upsetting  for me. But, it's very important that this is checked! You will also need blood tests to make sure your hcg is dropping.
