Just for a laugh

So we are in bed, babe is in her crib asleep. I heard my dog barking outside and hes barking different than his normal "nothing's really going on" barking. Then I heard a car. So I jumped up and looked outside and I see the car stopped in the middle of the road with it's headlights on a cow. One of our cows got out. It happens sometimes. I woke up my boyfriend and he says "you're kidding!" Nope... So I set up the baby monitor and get dressed and run outside. The goofy cow( a steer, a steer is a male cow with no balls lol) is just on the side of the road eating grass minding his own business. As were lewering him back in, my boyfriend went to open up the fence and as he grabbed the connector off the post a bird came flying out and hit him in the head. Turns out there was a robins nest inside the post haha! So after we get the cow in we go walking down the road to see where it escaped. Low and behold we find nothing broken, but what we did find was a flat part of long grass. Turns out the cow must've slipped and fell under the fence down the slope. The poor goofy thing. Life is never dull on a farm.
