When going swimming what should you wear?

I wear a menstrual cup! You can't wear a pad when swimming bc it will absorb the water instead. Tampons work fine though!

Pads are a big no. My tampons absorb all the water too but at least I don't have blood running down my leg. I'd really like to try the cup but l haven't purchased one yet.
