I have pocket diapers and while I haven't used them yet I have read that you're supposed to take the insert out before washing them 🤔 not sure tho- but I would imagine you might have to unsnap them to get it out? And you have to unsnap it to get it on baby no?

I hit yes, but meant to hit no. There is no reason at all for unsnapping your diapers. Unless of course, you like the extra work of unsnapping and then snapping them again after washing. Keeping them snapped in the wash will not at all hurt your diapers or affect them getting fully cleaned, if that's what you're worried about.

I personally like to have the insert folded between the snaps.  I find it adds extra absorbantcy for my little guy.

If I remember, once they go in the laundry basket I don't touch them till they are clean lol. I was actually curious if it makes a difference?!? if not I'd just leave them snapped and save time while stuff them.
