I'm 23 weeks. So I have been having what I assumed are Braxton Hicks, cramping, lower back pain and I'm leaking what I was concerned could be amniotic fluid. went into see my OB and she said she thought it was a minor infection but also ran the fetal fibronectin test. That came back positive, I haven't had sex or any sort of exam that would lead to a false positive. The swab for any infections came back negative which the nurse said was good news. But there is no plan and no communication in regards to the position fetal fibronectin.

I understand a positive really doesn't mean much but with my symptoms I'm just concerned and the lack of communication and urgency is a little frustrating. it's hard to stay calm and relaxed when I don't know what what my boundaries are. anyone else have experience with this?

My first pregnancy was a breeze. this one is so different that I don't know what's normal and what's not. all I know is I'm very uncomfortable, in pain sometimes and something just doesn't feel right.
