I have PCOS and in January 2016 I went to go see a reproductive endocrinologist who told me I had a severe case of PCOS and I would not be able to get pregnant unless I had fertility assistance. I was also told to get on birth control to make sure the lining of my uterus did not overgrow to the point of causing cancer. Of course that scared me and I went on birth control. Period were very consistent until April I spotted for a little bit and then nothing. I assumed my PCOS was winning again. I also started the paleo diet at the beginning of April. I was sick and boobs hurt immensely but I was naive to it all and keep blowing it off needless to say it wasn’t until June I decided to take a test and it was positive but by this time I was spotting all the time I was then told I was having a miscarriage, my bf at the time stated when days went on and nothing happened to go back to the ER and get rechecked. The ER said your baby is fine and showed me the heartbeat and everything. I was placed on pelvic rest and the bleeding stopped. The next two appts were great baby had a great heartbeat...August 2016 at 17 weeks exactly my water broke getting into our truck. One week later, after being in the hospital on strict bed rest I had to deliver our son on August 24 at 1030pm....my miracle baby who survived one threatened miscarriage was gone and my world was turned upside down and will never be the same again
