How did you prep for the GED?

Please no immature remarks such as; "I didn't need a GED, I got my high school diploma." 
I am 27 and pregnat and desire to finally get my GED but don't have an idea on how to get it. How to study for it or anything like that. I know I am not at all ready for the test. So if any of you got your GED how did you go about doing it?

I got a GED book from Barnes and Noble. I also enrolled in a night class it was two days a week for two hours. Once you're ready they help you sign up for the test! Good luck!!

I don't know where you are from, but I'm pretty sure there are courses and a book to help you prepare... probably even things online. Good luck!

I think they sell prep books at Barnes and Noble for it. My man got his GED when we were 16. I think his brother helped him study for it bc he's like a genius lol

There's tons of online resources and some local tech schools, colleges, etc. should offer some GED prep classes. Good for you for getting it!

Most places have a class for it. There's also books. I'm sure there are some free stuff online too.
