Just returned home from my d&c; at 7 weeks. This was our first pregnancy. Heartbroken doesn't touch the way I feel right now. Yet I feel deep down I am a changed woman, for the better. I know now for certain how ready I am to be a mother, to give all of me to someone else. And my husband has been incredible over the last couple of dreadful, painful weeks. For that I am beyond thankful. We hadn't told anyone about the pregnancy (other than my sister and bff) so suffering in silence is a challenge. Just wanted to share our story in case anyone else is going through something similar. The procedure was quick and painless, as easy as anything of the sort can be. I find comfort in this quote, so I want to share it with anyone looking for some comfort.
