CPS Calls

When should CPS stop taking certain people serious when they’re called? Some of my other posts have described situations where my neighbor’s daughter and mother keeps calling them on her because her daughter willingly moved because she didn’t want to do laundry. She claimed she was starving her kids (not true) and CPS found that everything that was said was lies. The daughter called them again on her today for cancelling a doctors appointment. The appointment was never made by the mom because she moved out. She’s 17, will be 18 on Saturday, and claims she’s grown and not a kid. Should CPS stop taking these calls serious? The neighbor just had a newborn and is getting tired of her oldest being petty.
