I regularly have very vivid nightmares and I experience sleep paralysis on a regular basis. In some dreams I'm only a 3rd party and it's usually like I'm watching a gruesome murder first hand, things that are just heart wrenching and unimaginable, like the murder of an entire family. My most recent dream involving sleep paralysis started out with me at a party and suddenly, everyone, including me, floats to the ceiling and when we fall back down everyone is paralyzed on the ground. A demon took over my body and started to speak a strange language in a voice that isn't mine. My conscious comes to and I scream out "I don't believe in that!"? And when I opened my eyes, dreaming still but I'm awake, totally unable to move my body, I see a demon in the corner, eyes lit and hissing at me and I'm terrified, I can't move, it feels like I can't breath. When I finally "wake up" from the sleep paralysis I lunge forward, gasping for air and in tears. Some of the dreams and stuff I experience feels... embarrassing. Like I never really tell anyone about it because they'll wonder if something is wrong with me. But it's nice to document it here. It seriously blows my mind how vivid my dreams can be and how they can seem to go on for forever. I've dealt with this since I was little, maybe 4 or 5. Does anyone else experience this?
