membrane stripping, no bleeding...?

40 weeks + 4 days currently. Lost my mucus plug yesterday following with pretty intense contractions for two hours (thought for sure I was going into labor) but then it stopped... Fast forward to 2pm at my doctors appointment today. Told her the activity I experienced yesterday and she recommended a membrane sweep. I agreed, had it done, and it is now 9pm.. I have been out walking and being active ever since. Doc said I would definitely have bleeding.. but I haven't had any! I feel a bit more sensitive.. and have had a (few) Braxton hicks contractions, but not very much. Is this a bad sign? I was SO hoping it was going to work..
