What age did you buy your daughter a training bra?

I don't know what's in the food our children are eating but my daughter started puberty earlier than my mind was prepared for. For those with a daughter or remember what it was like for you during this precious time in your life, please explain how you or your parents handled it.

I was 9. I asked my mom if I could get a bra because some boys were making fun of my boobs. we get to the store and my mom says go pick one out I will meet you in 15 minutes. don't do this to your daughter. I stood there looking at that wall of bras with tears in my eyes not knowing the size I was let only style I needed for my big boobs. I was embarrassed too.

There's actually not as many hormones in food as you'd think. Even in milk, if the cow is even on antibiotics they can't use their milk. 
Look into all information, not just information that coinsides with what you already believe.

My daughter  right before she turned 9, just asked if she could start wearing one because she was feeling self-conscientious about her boobs. I told her of course, and we went that night bra shopping together. We picked some out together. Now she wears them when she feels like it or is wearing a tighter shirt.

I was 8 or 9 when I started developing. I was a tomboy and felt blindsided and confused when my mom told me I needed to start wearing a bra. Mostly I hated that she AND my older sister told me together, so I felt embarrassed that they had been talking about me needing one, when I hadnt even noticed anything about my body had changed. And there was no explanation or anything, except that I needed to wear one. Also the bra was a hand-me-down and so stretched out and uncomfortable. I hated it. Bleh, bad memories. Lol, all that to say, I wont be getting one for my daughter till she starts developing, whatever age that may be. Hopefully, not as early as I did.

Looking back at pictures and what not I needed a legitimate bra, not just a sports bra in the 4th AND 5th grade. I'm so glad you were aware of her changing body for her sake. I got my period in 6th grade (first ever day of swim in the middle school), I wouldn't doubt her period isn't far behind. Luckily the school district runs PowerPoints for both genders in the 5th grade and explains all the changes that start happening to human bodies as they develop. I would suggest BrainPop as a kid friendly way to explain too! Hope this helps prepare you for the next steps in your beautiful growing daughter! ❤

My daughter was 8-9 years when she started have lil grapes shes calls them . I started to notice but I didn't want her to feel self conscious so I let her tell me . I bought her sport bra looking ones bra or training bra is not need just yet but the one we got her did the trick . She doesn't have a period yet but I know that is coming next . Which is will be 10 in a few months just hoping she gets to 12 like me so she dnt have to deal with that till she's alil older.

I had to fight with my daughter about wearing bras at 10...she too is a Tom boy but developed very early...she got her period at 11 and was pretty developed by then...thankfully my neice wasnt far behind so that helped her feel more confident...she's almost 13 now and can't imagine not wearing one.

I remember having a matching (101 Dalmatians) training bra and underwear set when I was 6 years old 😂😂 been wearing bras since then.

I started wearing one around 2nd grade, when I started to develop. My mom took me bra shopping and gave me one of those developing lady books.
