1st time flying, can you bring milk through security?

I am going to fly with my baby in 2 weeks on a long flight (14 hrs) . Can I bring her milk with me through security? Like a half gallon jug or something? What about food? Thank you!

The liquid/gel restrictions don't apply to baby food (milk, formula, purées, etc.) just make sure to pull it all out before putting your bag in the scanner and give yourself a little extra time because they will swab and test it.

Yes. They will test it though. I had no real issues and it only took 30 seconds

Like formula or breast milk? They let me do it if it was in a bottle. Just leave early because they pull you to the side for a bit to make sure that's what it is
