What is the best birth control? Never really thought about it and can't really talk to my mom about it because she always freaks out on me even if I'm 19.

I was the same. I just went with the pill to try out first. I go back to my dr in two months to talk about if I wanna continue with the pill or try something else. So far so good.

Some places have teen clinics you can go to and learn about them... I'm using the Nuva ring. You leave it in for 3 weeks and take it out for the 4th week if you want your period. It's a little small circle that you squeeze and just stick it up your vagina like a tampon and I don't feel a thing. Can't even tell it's up there. And personally think it's better than the pill because you don't have to stress about taking some thing everyday at the same time
