Birth control but no sex

Hey ladies i have a question but after you had your babies were your partners not ready for sex cuz you had a baby and they get scared. Well that's what I'm dealing with now it's been 4 months and even though for some reason I feel sore it makes me feel scared to have sex too, but I take the depo shot every 3 months and I'm just wondering do I continue to take it even tho I'm not quite ready for sex or he is not either??
