How do you girls manage to go to all these monitoring appointments with clomid or letrazole?
I'm a cosmetologist so when I have to go to a monitoring appointment for taking letrazole I have to cancel appointments at work to go to my appointments and block off atleast 3-4 hours when I go or I take off for the day since it's an hour to get to my fertility specialist and I usually am there for over an hour. Me and my husband have discussed this issue and since he's the one who makes the income and my Job is just a little extra money I'm almost thinking about quitting my job to make this all easier. Getting pregnant is so important to me. We've been ttc for 16 months. I was seeing an obgyn from march-May and then got referred to this specialist a little over a month ago. I've had tons of blood tests done, did ultrasounds, etc. The past 6 years as a cosmetologist I've been busting my butt putting all of my clients needs and wants before mine. Squeezing people in, working extra late when I don't have to because some wants in or was late. I've had clients throw a fit at me because I had to cancel their appointments because my grandma died and I needed time off to myself. Some get mad if I take 1 week off during the whole year for a vacation. And I don't get paid time off like their jobs. It's soo stressful dealing with all of that stress. Plus having to cancel appointments at work to go to my fertility appointments stresses me out. It would be so much easier if I didn't have to deal with that. I've been ttc for 15 months and just started fertility treatments and I'm to the point where Getting pregnant comes before all of their hair and nail needs. It's time for me to be happy and do this for myself. I just don't know how or what to tell them?? Is anyone else in my shoes?
