I sound crazy but is someone living in my house??? Help please

I probably sound crazy or like I'm trolling but something is not right. I live with my bf, our one and a half year old daughter (we share a room but we move out soon), his Dad and his teenage sister who is always out. I've lived here for over a year and I've always told my bf I thought the place was haunted because there's this big vacant space in the back (a huge bedroom used for storage and a huge closet, it was a remodel and bigger than the living room) and sometimes at night the light would be on shining down the hallway even though nobody EVER goes in there except a few times a year. Another time the door was open randomly and I saw a figure streak past in a blur, so quickly I thought I imagined it. I assumed it was a ghost or something. Then my bf and I started hearing big thumps in the attic, bigger than an animal. Footsteps. He told me it must be a cat on the roof or a raccoon, even though it sounded too big - like a person. However he started getting freaked out too. We were in the bathroom one night (it's right by the back room) - we were home alone and he was in there with me while I was on the toilet because I get scared being alone in this house. We heard from the back room low thumps like objects falling, and a distant cough. We freaked out and locked ourselves in our room assuming it was a ghost (our daughter was at a relatives). A few weeks later we're home alone in the bathroom at night again, and we hear a light laugh - a woman's. We are terrified but try to convince ourselves that it was his sisters.... found out next morning that his sister wasn't home. His Dad buys everything in bulk from Sams Club so it's hard to know if someone could be stealing food too... another thing is nobody ever goes in the attic. Never. It's hard to get open. A couple times we found the light on shining down into the hallway through the cracks, assumed it was a mistake because the lightswitch is by the hallway light switch. Now I'm second guessing . I'm terrified because two weeks ago my bf and I were up late, and there were distinct loud FOOTSTEPS on the roof, they saw the light on and fell to the side of the house and knocked over the trashcans. We tried calling the cops but his Dad said it must've been some teenagers. Do I sound crazy? We're moving out soon but I'm scared to spend another minute here.
