1 cm dilated

So since Monday when my cervix was completely closed up until yesterday when I became a cm dilated and 70% effaced with contractions being decently consistent in time but increasingly more painful but I didn't dilate anymore so my ob had us go home I don't know how much more dilation has happened I know she said to walk around or use nipple stimulation I'm 37 weeks and 4 days today and was wondering if any mommys out there have had the same thing happen I just know these contractions are becoming hell
