Questions dealing with TTC with Pcos

I am looking for advice , as for this is my first time ttc , and having some complications. Here is the back story , Tuesday of this week , i went to my OBGYN , we talked about taking advantage of the fact that I will be ovulating soon , since my cycle just ended on Monday. I just got my first period last Friday to Monday after not having it for a year. However , i was able to get my cycles with birth control, because of how pcos is in my body. per my OBGYN , she prescribed me metformin for 10 days 500mg for the first 5 days , then for the next set of 5 days take 2 500mg tablets once in the am once at night , along with fermara 5mg 2 a day, each pill is 2.5mg. She told me to stop taking my birth control medicine , and start trying next week.

This past Wednesday , the day after my appointment , i start spotting which in then turns to bleeding as if I am getting my cycle all over again. I am not sure what to do , i know it is a side effect when you stop taking birth control , for you to bleed potentially.

Has anyone ever had this happen , and what have you done to stop the bleeding. Will it stop on it's own. Not exactly sure what to do.
