I gotta question

hi, my name is Brittney I've been ttc for about 3 months now I'm 19 and my bf is 23. seems like it's never going to work.. I feel like I always build my head up to thinking I am then really disappointed when I take the test and it comes back negative. my boyfriend has said he thinks I can't get pregnant. any advice on what to do ? I'm scared to go to the doctors and them tell me I cant. I would be so crushed.
