Hi ladies! I am 22 weeks and just found out I need to have a right thyroid lobectomy done during this second trimester. The biopsy of the nodule shows a hurthle cell neoplasm and they can not determine if it is cancerous until the my remove it. Has anyone had this done? If not has anyone undergone surgery while pregnant? What is recovery like on something like this? I meet with a surgeon on Monday and they may be able to give me some answers but I'd like to hear from someone with personal experience.
