Should I go to the E.R?

I've been cramping none stop for about an hour now and that's never happened before, I'm 12 weeks. Should i be concerned and go to the hospital?

I was always told if I was cramping drink 16 oz of water in 10 mins or less and then lay down on your side for an hour. If they don't go away after that go to the ER.

You may be dehydrated! Try drinking two cups of water and laying down to see if it stops.

How bad are the cramps? My obgyn says anything worse than a menstrual cramp needs to be checked out asap

I would call your OB right away and let them know what's going on and see what they recommend for you to do.

is it painful? are you bleeding at all?

My doctor told me some cramping is totally normal, but if the cramps are painful or more uncomfortable than menstrual cramps it's best to go in and be checked.
