I need advice...

I have been asking my son who is almost 8 to clean his room for months. He won't do it. He constantly comes down for drinks, snacks, bathroom breaks, hugs... I mean constantly. I am about to clean his room abd throw it all away. Please tell me if I am wrong by doing so. He clearly doesn't care about his stuff, I threaten it constantly and he just says he's going to bed.

What do I do? I am 9 months pregnant and ready to cry.
