Are Johnson and Johnson products safe to use?

Question

I have heard about lawsuits against the company about a chemical in their products or something and I heard that they removed them from all their products and that it's OK to use now. I have 2 big bottles of Johnson and Johnson baby soap given to me by someone and I'm nervous about using them.

Literally millions of baby's have had Johnsons products used on them with no issues. I use them on my son.  No problems. There's no telling if those reported issues were actually because of the products. It seems unlikely seeing that there are so many who have no issues with them.

Personally, anything made by Johnsons will not be used on our baby or even be in our house. There has been too many settlements and babies bleeding from have reactions from their products. I am using only Seventh Generation. It's a great brand & we have already used their products throughout our home.

No, they are not good. They contain harmful chemicals. Just because all these people say they use them and haven't noticed any issues doesn't mean there aren't any. Not all damage can be seen. We've been using the baby wash/shampoo made by the same company that makes the diapers we use... Andy Pandy. We love their products! They were made by a couple who made them for their own kids. The baby wash is organic, the diapers are soft and made of bamboo (biodegradable and chemical free). I hope they expand on their products and get lots more customers because they are a wonderful company! We order them from Amazon.

I wouldn't chance it. Not in the slightest. Issues that people would see from Johnson and Johnson (including issues that happened re:the lawsuit you mentioned) are issues that would develop years later. It's from cancer-causing agents. Or toxins that can cause infertility issues after longtime usage. So babies would be fine with it, or seem like they are- It's what happens as they grow into adulthood. Johnson and johnsons american products have a lot of toxins. Their European products don't because Europe has higher standards for chemical useage in products than we do. It's scary I know. Just try the least chemical products you can find.

I used it with my other two babies and they did fine, this last LO has bad skin allergies and is allergic to Johnson and Johnson products so I use aveeno on her.
