what do you guys think of Cassia?

For a baby girl! (pronounced like asia). Originally, i wanted to name my daughter victoria, but i live in victoria, bc, Canada. And i hate the nickname Vicky!!  so I looked at more unique names and found Cassia. I think it's gorgeous and unique ! my mom hates it lol what do you guys think?? 💁

I don't know that people will pronounce it correctly. Until I read it's said like Asia, I was along the lines of Ca-cee-uh

There is a book with a character named Cassia and the author states it's pronounced Cash-uh.  I see the name and immediately read it as cas-ee-uh tho.

I think pronouncing it Cas-ee-uh sounds pretty, but I don't like the idea of pronouncing it like Asia with a C at the front, sorry

If you want it to sound like Asia i'd drop one 's'. With the name Victoria I know a few Tors or Tori's and even a Ria, doesn't have to be Vicky.
