40 and Over, Single & TTC?

Hi all, is anyone here 40 or over, single and ttc? I'm 40, single and ttc #1 with a friend. I'm realizing it comes with it's own set of issues and just wondering if there's anyone else out there in the same boat...

I am 40, single and TTC with a sperm donor. I really thought having kids was slipping through my fingers when marriage never happened. It finally occurred to me that I am financially secure, have a family support system and capable of doing this on my own. I want this now more than ever and pray for a successful IVF.

I'm married, but I went to obgyn today by myself with sperm donor pack from California Cryo. Felt real tough, then had a boohoo in the bathroom. So I'm impressed and inspired by you both.
