'How do you pronounce her name?'
We thought we were playing it safe with my daughter's name. We chose something we didn't think would be mispronounced here in India.
How wrong we were...
Yesterday, I had a visit from some work friends; apparently, everyone had been pronouncing my daughter's name 'imogen' as 'E-mog-en' 🤣
We had to explain its 'Im-oh-gen', similar to how 'imagine' is pronounced.
I'm dying 😂
I think we'll stick to calling her 'immy' while we live here 😳
