Palpable lymph node in 3 month old?

Question

I've noticed there's a palpable lymph node (maybe the size of a bean) in my 3 month old. It's located where the base of the skull and the neck meet. When I touch it, it isn't soft but it does move. Is this normal?
He does have a clogged duct that gets infected every now and then so I don't know if that's associated with it. But, should I be worried?

I would definitely get checked out. 
I've heard they can be quite common in babies and children. My sister had one when she was 8 years old and it stayed permanently. She's 12 now. She had all the relevant checks. To this day still freaks me out. I'm no old with lumps and bumps.

My son has a lump in that area. We started noticing it when he was about 3 or 4 months old. His doctor thought it was a swollen lymph node and put him on a course of antibiotics. That didn't make a difference so she sent him for an ultrasound of it. Turned out to be a dermoid cyst, which they described as basically a collection of fat. They said it's nothing to worry about unless it starts growing then we'll need to have it removed.

My 14 month old has had this since she was a newborn. I've honestly always forgotten to ask... but they've not changed. I just assume lymph nodes

My son had a thyroglossal duct cyst on his neck above his thyroid that they thought was a lymph node until ultrasound proved otherwise. He had to have it surgically removed, he his happy and healthy now!
