Can you ever fully heal from being cheated on?

I personally thought I did. Until someone brought it up (not in a rude way) but I tried pushing that horrible day when I found out my boyfriend slept with another girl to the back of my mind. I thought I had come to the point of forgetting about it. But I have not and I broke down today (almost 15 months after he cheated).  And yes we are still together.

No. My ex boyfriend cheated the whole 3 year relationship and I've been with my current boyfriend for a year now. I still have doubts all the time. it sucks

My husband cheated.  We separated, had counseling and eventually got back together. I think it took about four or five years for me to fully heal and trust him again. It takes a VERYYYY long time.  We still ended up getting divorced but it wasn't over cheating and I don't think he ever cheated on me again during the marriage so when people say "once a cheater always a cheater", that's not necessarily always true. Many will down you for staying but it takes a lot of strength, time and patience, WORK to come back from cheating.

I was with my husband for 6 years, we had two kids together. I got a divorce from him this past year when I found out his side chick got pregnant and he paid for the abortion. He's been wth a new girl since January (day after my birthday actually) and I'm still not over it. Different things get brought up and I just feel sick thinking about it. Different people need different lengths of time to get over things and sometimes you just never do.

it's only been 3 months for me.......I'm just now getting to the point of not thinking about it constantly! I don't think I'll ever fully heal from it but I'm trying.
