Someone else baby wearing your child?

I'm a nanny for a 5 2 and 6 month old and I baby wear the baby. I was talking to a nanny friend and she says the parents don't like her baby wearing cause he might grow a stronger bond with his nanny over his parents

I think that's a little paranoid. Is she not allowed to pick up the baby or talk to it either? I thought baby wearing was more for convenience than bonding? That way the caregiver's arms are freed up; plus babies can get heavy?

My nanny did this with my youngest brother. He really loved her, but nothing like he loved my parents (or me- he loved me way more than anyone for a long time and I never wore him). She was from Tanzania and would use just this special cloth she had, that scared my mum at first, but my nanny showed her how it worked and my mum eventually started using one too. My brother loved it and was so happy there. It also allowed our nanny to more easily care for the three other kids that moved around a lot more. It was great! 
I honestly think it might help with bonding. But if a kid ends up more attached to the nanny then that's because the parents aren't being hands on and spending enough time with them. Absentee parenting will cause that. I'll certainly have no issue with a nanny baby wearing my future kids! I actually hope they do

It's either baby wearing or they will be holding their baby anyways. At least if they are baby wearing it will be easier on them.

If you're going to leave your baby with a nanny surely it's a give that the baby will be more attached to the nanny even sans baby wearing.

I'd rather someone have baby in a carrier then it stuck in some baby device
