TTC WITH PCOS and on Metformin

This past Friday I was told I have PCOS and I started taking metformin. I am on cycle day 44. I guess my question is do any of you ladies get the real bad side effects my doctor told me about and can any of you share maybe previous success pregnancy stories that have been in this situation?
