I came in yesterday for abdominal pain like I never felt before. it hurt enough to make me cry. after coming in my blood pressure was every where. it got as high as 181/90. so they admitted me. my blood pressure finally got down to 130/70 and 140/80. it's been bouncing between those all day. I had 2 steroid shots and they put a tampon shaped medicine by my cervix. now I wait for my cervix to soften and then if I don't give birth to Logan tonight he will be delivered tomorrow. I am 26 weeks and 3 days. I was not expecting my rainbow baby until a couple weeks at least. I got really emotion over this. he is considered to be a late preemie since he is so close to full term. I'm scared because he is a big baby at that and I was informed that usually big preemies tend to have more breathing problems. my boyfriend says I have nothing to worry about and our little handsome will come out just fine. I'm scared because I don't know what to expect I thought I was going to have a couple more weeks to prepare. I'm also considered gestational hypertension and it will be treated like I am getting preeclampsia... which that painful abdominal pain I felt is a dually a sign of preeclampsia.... I have constant heartburn. so far I haven't felt cramps, but it's been an hour since the medication by my cervix and cramps are mild....
