Confused Period

Heeeelllp...

So I took the sugar pill of my birth control on a Tuesday and nothing happened until Friday night when I had severe cramps but nothing else and then Saturday morning it was only dark blood until Sunday it just stopped and there is nothing at all. Everything I google says its normal but its not normal for me and concerns me. Does this happen to anyone else?
