I got mine at 11, it wasn't a big deal or anything and I didn't tell anyone except my mom. Well fast foward a year (still in middle school) I ended up getting my period in the middle of class.. back when white pants were popular 😑 anyways I had to suck it up and make the embarassing call to my dad lol I remember the panic in his voice and the phone goes silent and next thing I know he's at the school with a bag of supplies loool as in puppy pads, duct tape, and sweat pants. I remember him frantically asking if I was alright with a horrified look on his face and he couldn't look me in the eye. He made quite the scence in the office that day. (on the bright side he let me stay home all week) Its one of those things that are totally mortifying at the time but you can't help but laugh when you look back on it. 😂

i was in gymnastics class and i was doing a split and blood went all over the mat and i didnt notice until my friend mikenzie told me so i was embarrassed but not as much as im half native american so we have this ritual were we celebrate it was horrifying i was lying in my bed crying that whole night i was scared that i couldnt do gymnastics anymore

I vividly remember my mom gleefully calling my dad to inform him I had started my period. I also remember wanting to crawl into a hole and die when dad came home from work that day because I was super embarrassed about it.

I got my period at 8 years old 😩. At the time I didn't even understand what was going on but I hated that I had to where pads. And could not practice gymnastics.

I was in 6th grade and i was one of the only girls who got theres. I was in gym and we were sitting on the floor and i guess blood got pushed up and i had blood all over my pants. I went to the nurse and had to go home and change clothes and shower. it was so embarassing.
