I'm so sick of people telling me I have to "try harder" to pay for college. Is it not obvious to them that I AM trying my hardest?!

"Oh you just need to get another job to pay off what you owe!" Excuse me? I have a work study job that pays shit, and do you know how hard it is to come by a job in this fucking hick town? Either all the high school students have them or permanent college students have them. There are no job opportunities for anyone else, unless they have a car, which I'm too broke to afford. And in the rare instance a job DOES become available, it's gone within a day. It's easy for you financial aid people to sit on your ass at your desk all day, getting paid to tell me to "try harder." Fuck that.

"Well take out some loans!" Umm I can't? My credit is shot thanks to my parents basically forcing me to take out a credit card when I was 18. I've tried loans... my bank told me they won't even LOOK at a loan unless my score is AT LEAST a 660. Wtf?

But then there's the "oh you just need to start saving your money!" People. Do you know how hard it is to get a savings going? Congrats you got lucky enough to have a high paying job. I, on the other hand, pay for ALL of my food, ALL of my medication (which is hundreds a month, btw), ALL of my housing expenses, my own phone bill....I have literally nothing left after each paycheck. How am I supposed to save if I have literally no money in my bank after paying my bills?!

It's just so fucking ridiculous. Even when I explain all this I still get the same fucking responses. "Try harder!", "get another job!", "save all your money!" How about you guys STFU. I'm so sick of it.
