When did you tell your SO?

Did you wait until you had a BFP to tell your SO the news or did you tell them after the first vvfl??
I just got my first vvfl this morning and I don't know how long I can keep this a secret. I love seeing all the cute ways women surprise their SO and I'd like to do something cute like that but should I wait until I get a BFP?

Ours wasn't planned. We hadn't been together very long and I took at least 10hpts in about 4 days just to be sure 😂😂 I told him after I went to get confirmation from a blood test (even after 10 bfps I still wasn't convinced 🙈) sadly we lost it at 8 weeks. But he's reaction to finding out was incredible. Congrats and you should definitely tell him 😊

I never got a faint line on a test, mine was so positive. So I didn't have to keep the secret that long but I would wait until you can see the line better.

I got a vvfl and confirmed with the doctor before telling him. It was our first month trying so he was a little shocked 😊

We weren't trying but we weren't preventing either. I knew for a couple days my test was extremely dark pink. So the same day I had my first appt I told my boyfriend while walking to go food shopping 😭😭.

My period was about a week late and my boyfriend was convinced I was pregnant. I kept saying no, I didn't want either of us to get our hopes up, since all the home tests came back negative. I was gonna test again the morning of 9 days late. But I went grocery shopping the night of 8 days late and when I got home I had the urge to test. Now I had been drinking a lot of water and peeing constantly that day. But I had such a strong urge to test that I went ahead and used one of my cheap dollar tests. There was a faint line! The next morning after my boyfriend went to work I rushed to the store and bought some more tests to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I had a total of five tests, four line and one digital. All came back positive! I rushed back to the store and bought a cute baby blanket that's gray & yellow with cute little elephants on it. I laid my tests on top of it and put the blanket on top of our made up bed. I then texted him that I had another early birthday present for him when he got home. I left to get food and he got home early so I didn't get to see his reaction right when he saw them but he texted me and was very excited. We are both simple people so that was an easy way to tell him 😊

I told him almost every time I tested, even when it was negative, because I was so upset. We were also going through fertility treatments, and it was following a Tubal reversal and an iui 7 months later. So he we very in the know....lol but he was super excited abt our faint line and then our bfp.

I told him as soon as I got my BFP.  It was a strong positive though.  I planned on waiting to buy a cute onesie or something, but was too excited.  I had previously purchased a card that said "Shit just got real" with a positive pregnancy test on it.  So I gave him that and then showed him my tests!

I got my first BFP on Thursday, took another on Friday, and another on Saturday. Then I told him on Saturday!

I have an appointment this Friday and I'll be 8 weeks and I took more tests last Friday (I've had 3 miscarriages at 5 weeks so I'm a bit paranoid)
