I was outside for 10 hours yesterday and I only had to reapply it once. I didn't burn at all on my face. I have scarring from very bad sunburn and it hard for me to prevent burning. It is a little pricey, it's $20 at Ulta for 1.5 oz but if you're like me it's worth it! Comes in two shades; natural and light
