Gag reflex - throwing up while brushing teeth?

Do you have a sensitive gag reflex while pregnant?? I didn't with my last pregnancy, but when I brushed my teeth this morning, I threw up three times. 
Luckily morning = just water... but still... all I did was brush my teeth!

Yeah it's a vicious cycle. Brush, puke, brush again, puke again... now when I brush I'm just not as thorough. Like I don't brush my tongue anymore because that makes me puke every time right now.

YES! 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼 it is AWFUL. I've never had an issue before but now I can't even brush my tongue without throwing up or dry heaving for 10 minutes.

Yes! I've thrown up twice while brushing my teeth and came close several other times. I have to go to the dentist today so I'll be giving them fair warning.

I thought it was just the brushing (it partially is) but I've found it's also the extreme flavor of the toothpaste. I tried using my daughters bubblegum toothpaste and it was much more tolerable!

This is my first pregnancy, it's absolutely horrible and causes me to be late to work because of the time I have to take! The grit and smell now just makes my stomach turn!

I do every time I brush my teeth I throw up. I try to wait until a little later in the morning but I hate not brushing my teeth right when I wake up.
